Gail M. Nelson, 70, Ironwood, Mich., the mother of a Stevens Point man, died Monday, Aug. 9, 2010, at St. Mary's Medical Center in Duluth, Minn.
Services will be held at 11:30 a.m. Friday, Aug. 13, at Our Lady of Peace Catholic Church in Ironwood, Mich. Committal will be in the St. Joseph Family Room at the church. Private burial will be in Riverside Cemetery in Ironwood, Mich.
Visitation will be from 9:30 a.m. Friday in the St. Joseph Family Room at the church until the services.
Memorial contributions may be made to the St. Vincent de Paul Society.

Mrs. Nelson was employed in office work in Chicago and Ann Arbor, Mich., for a short time.
Survivors include her husband, Reino L. Nelson; one son, Michael (Sandy Kryshak), Stevens Point; one daughter, Lisa (Michael) Michiels, Marinette; four brothers, Thomas (Dori) Finco, Lone Rock, Mich., Ben (Bev) Finco, Green Bay, and Mark (LuAnn) Finco-Sobieski and Dan (Vicky) Finco, both of Ironwood, Mich.; two sisters, Francyne (Tom) Johnson, Grafton, and Ginnie (Beet) Anderson, Ironwood, Mich.; and five grandchildren.
