Lois F. Hodsdon

Lois F. Hodsdon, 80, Stevens Point, died Tuesday, Aug. 3, 2010, at her home.

Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Friday at Trinity Lutheran Church in Stevens Point, with the Rev. Steven Olson officiating.

Visitation is from 9:30 a.m. Friday at the church until the services.

A memorial will be established.

Mrs. Hodsdon was born July 6, 1930, in Marshfield, a daughter of the late Ignatius and Helene (Lenz) Brandl. She graduated from Marshfield High School in 1948.

She was married to Roy Hodsdon on Nov. 1, 1952, in Marshfield.

The couple later moved to Stevens Point, and she worked at the Stevens Point H&R Block office as manager before her employment at Point Soo/Point Plus Credit Union until her retirement in 1990 as assistant manager.

She was a member of the American Legion Post 6 Legion Auxiliary.

Survivors include her husband; one daughter, Dixie (Eldon) Brammer, Bedford, Va.; four sons, Dave (Nancy), Marshfield, Doug (Sharon), Mondovi, and Dean (Doreen) and Dusty (Jackie), both of Stevens Point; two brothers, William (Carol) Brandl and Guy (Janice) Brandl, both of Marshfield; two sisters: Eva Gratzek, West Allis, and Jan Bremmer, Wisconsin Rapids; 12 grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.

She was also preceded in death by one brother, Kenny; and one great-grandson.
