Cecelia B. Hintz, 96, a former Stevens Point resident, died Sunday, Aug. 22, 2010, at the Manawa Community Nursing Center where she has resided for the past three years. She had previously resided at North Crest for two years.
Funeral services will be held at 11:30 a.m. Wednesday at St. Stephen Catholic Church in Stevens Point, with the Rev. John Potaczek officiating. Burial will be in Guardian Angel Cemetery in Stevens Point.
Visitation will be at the church from 10:30 a.m. Wednesday until the services.
A memorial has been established to the American Heart Association.

Mrs. Hintz was born Aug. 8, 1914, in Stockton, a daughter of the late Joseph and Mary (Blooma) Wysocki. She attended Fancher schools.
She was married to Felix Hintz on June 30, 1937, at St. Mary of Mount Carmel Catholic Church in Fancher. He died on July 3, 1997.
She worked at Normington Laundry until her retirement in 1976.
Survivors include two nieces, Mary Lou (Clifford) Schulist, Manawa, and Rita (Alden) Dombrowski, Minocqua; and many other nieces and nephews.
She was also preceded in death by two brothers and 10 sisters.
