| Jack E. Goudreau Jack E. Goudreau, 64, 157 W. Clark St., Stevens Point, a former Stevens Point alderman, died unexpectedly Monday, Aug. 2, 2010, at his home. A celebration of his life will be held at 11 a.m. Monday, Aug. 9, at Trinity Lutheran Church in Stevens Point, with the Rev. Steven Olson officiating. Visitation will be at the church from 9 a.m. Monday, Aug. 9, until the celebration of his life. Boston Funeral Home of Stevens Point assisted the family with arrangements. Condolences may be offered online at bostonfuneralhome.net. Mr. Goudreau was born Jan. 28, 1946, in Mason City, Iowa, a son of the late Cecil and Vivian (Nelson) Goudreau. He grew up there, graduating from Mason City High School in 1964. After school, he moved to California and worked various jobs before becoming employed as a beauty salesman for Northland Beauty Supply in Green Bay. Later he worked as a car salesman for various dealerships in the central Wisconsin region. Most recently he was a car buyer for the Koehne auto dealership in Oconto until retiring in 2008. In 1977, he was elected District 9 alderman for the city of Stevens Point. He was married to Jane M. Routhieaux on April 15, 1972, at St Jude Parish in Green Bay. They made their home in Stevens Point. Survivors include his wife; one son, Brion (Heather), St. Charles, Ill.; one sister, Jane (Phil) Bradbury, Phoenix, Ariz.; and two granddaughters. |
