Delores J. Gorecki, 72, 1300 Briggs Court, Stevens Point, died Tuesday, Aug. 31, 2010, at the Stevens Point Care Center in Whiting.
A Funeral Mass will be held at 10:30 a.m. Thursday at St. Peter Catholic Church in Stevens Point, with the Rev. Kevin Louis officiating. Burial will be in Guardian Angel Cemetery in Stevens Point.
Visitation will be in the St. Faustina Room of the church from 9:30 a.m. Thursday until the Mass.

Mrs. Gorecki was born Sept. 16, 1937, in Stevens Point, a daughter of the late Stanley and Susie (Guzman) Zynda.
She was married to Tony Pechinski on Sept. 30, 1961, at Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Polonia. He preceded her in death.
She was married to Florian Gorecki on Sept. 3, 1983, at St. Peter Catholic Church in Stevens Point. He died Dec. 26, 2001.
She was employed at the Holiday Inn in Stevens Point and Del Monte in Plover. She also worked on the family farm for many years.
Survivors include three brothers, Raymond Zynda, Stevens Point, Stanley Zynda Jr., Rosholt, and Daniel (Mary Jane) Zynda, Stevens Point.
She was also preceded in death by one sister, Margaret Kaminski.
