| Richard G. 'Dick' Froehlich Richard G. "Dick" Froehlich, 83, Almond, died Friday, Aug. 27, 2010, at his daughter's home in Friendship. Memorial services will be held at 11 a.m. Friday, Sept. 3, at Leikness & Stahl Funeral Home in Plainfield, with the Rev. David Leistra officiating. Visitation will be at the funeral home from 9:30 a.m. Friday, Sept. 3, until the services. Memorials should be given to Hospice Touch, c/o Tomah Memorial Hospital, Tomah. Condolences may be offered online at www.plainfieldfuneralhome.com. Mr. Froehlich was born Jan. 22, 1927, in Juneau County, a son of the late Gustav and Caroline (Lange) Froehlich. He was married to Ivadelle Beggs on Oct. 13, 1945. She died July 23, 1984. He was married to Jean Czajkowski Mehne on May 11, 1985. She died on April 10, 2003. He was a veteran who worked in agriculture all of his life. Mr. Froehlich was a raccoon hunter, fisherman, turkey hunter, snowmobile class instructor, woodworker, beekeeper and gardener. Survivors include three sons, Terry (Linda), Princeton, Russell (Nancy), Russellville, Ark., and Bill (Bernadette), New London; one daughter, Dianna Helmrick, Friendship; 10 grandchildren; 12 great-grandchildren; and one great-great-grandson. |
