| Ruth M. (Trader) Fox Ruth M. (Trader) Fox, 88, Stevens Point, died Friday, Aug. 6, 2010, following a prolonged illness. A Funeral Mass will be held at 11 a.m. Tuesday at St. Peter Catholic Church in Stevens Point, with the Rev. John Potaczek officiating. Burial will be in Guardian Angel Cemetery in Stevens Point. Visitation will be at the church from 9 a.m. Tuesday until the Mass. Pisarski/Dzikoski Funeral Home of Stevens Point assisted the family with arrangements. Condolences may be offered online at www.pisarskifuneralhome.com. Mrs. Fox was born July 21, 1922, in Amherst Junction, a daughter of the late Frank and Verona (Glodowski) Trader. She attended school in Amherst Junction and later graduated from the University of Wisconsin-Stevens Point with a teaching degree. She taught in a rural, one-room school. She was married and lived in the Philadelphia area during World War II. After the war, she settled in Stevens Point where she remained a member of St. Peter Catholic Church until her death. Mrs. Fox volunteered in the surgical ward of St. Michael's Hospital for a number of years and assisted local families as they awaited surgical results. Survivors include four sons, James, Green Bay, David (Jennifer), Cincinnati, Ohio, Gary (Linda), Waukesha, and Jeff (Donna), Minneapolis, Minn.; one daughter, Ann (Scott) Brooks, Spokane, Wash.; and nine grandchildren. She was also preceded in death by two infant children, Thomas and Mary; and one brother, Leonard Trader. |
