John E. Fischer, 49, 1585 Main St., Rudolph, died Monday, Aug. 9, 2010, at his residence.
A celebration of his life will be held at the Rudolph Grotto at 2 p.m. Saturday, Aug. 28, with the Rev. Paul Plowman officiating along with family friend, Denny Thompson.
There will be no visitation.

Mr. Fischer was born Sept. 1, 1960, in Stevens Point, a son of Carl and Beverly (Truman) Fischer. At the age of 14, an inoperable brain tumor altered the course of his life. He was a 1979 graduate of Lincoln High School in Wisconsin Rapids.
Survivors include his parents, Rudolph; three brothers, Scott "Rusty" and Mark, both of Rudolph, and Joseph (Sara), Plover; and two sisters, Robin (the Rev. Paul) Plowman, Tomah, and Penny Fischer, Rudolph.
