Rose M. Domka

Rose M. Domka, 80, Stevens Point, died Friday, Aug. 20, 2010, at her home.

A Funeral Mass will be held at 11 a.m. Tuesday St. Peter Catholic Church in Stevens Point, with the Rev. Robert Latona officiating. Burial will be in Guardian Angel Cemetery in Stevens Point.

Visitation will be at Pisarski/Dzikoski Funeral Home in Stevens Point from 4 to 8 p.m. Monday and in the St. Faustina Room of the church from 10 a.m. Tuesday until the Mass.

A memorial will be established in her name for the Leukemia Foundation.

Mrs. Domka was born April 19, 1930, in Stevens Point, a daughter of the late Joseph and Bertha (Grulkowski) Singer.

She was married to Edmund Domka on Oct. 30, 1948, at St. Mary Catholic Church in Torun.

After their marriage the couple settled in the Stevens Point area.

She worked for a number of years for the Weber Tackle Co. as a fly tier and for Worzalla Publishing for more than 30 years until her retirement in 1992.

Survivors include her husband; two daughters, Marilyn Ebel, Plover, and Deborah (Tod) Borchert, Stevens Point; one son, Ronald (Mary), Stevens Point; two brothers, Richard (Andrea) Singer and Norbert (Loretta) Singer; two sisters, Delores Garski and Henrietta Hintz; seven grandchildren; and 11 great-grandchildren.

She was also preceded in death by five brothers.
