Frances L. Damrau, 96, Amherst, died Friday, Aug. 27, 2010, at the Iola Assisted Living Nursing Home in Iola.
A funeral service will be held at 11 a.m. Tuesday at Jungers-Holly Funeral Home in Amherst, with Marjorie Langton officiating. Burial will be in Greenwood Cemetery in Amherst.
Visitation will be at the funeral home from 4 to 8 p.m. Monday and from 10 a.m. Tuesday until the service.

Mrs. Damrau was born Nov. 19, 1913, a daughter of the late Reinhold and Minnie (Ristow) Otto.
She was married to Herman Damrau on Aug. 30, 1933. He preceded her in death.
She was homemaker.
Survivors include three daughters, June Sutheimer, Zephyrhills, Fla., Shirley (Alvin) Lutz, Amherst, and Marjorie (Gerald) Lutz, Amherst Junction; one son, Byron (Lena), Fond du Lac; one sister, Linna Petersen, Jackson; 16 grandchildren; and several great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren.
She was also preceded in death by two sisters, Dorothy and Emma; and one grandson.
