| Teri Lynn Cary Teri Lynn Cary, 53, Danville, Iowa, the sister of a Stevens Point woman, died Wednesday, Aug. 25, 2010, at Great River Medical Center in West Burlington, Iowa. A funeral service will be held at 2 p.m. Monday at Grace United Methodist Church in Burlington, Iowa, with the Rev. Mike Orthel officiating. Inurnment will be in Kossuth Cemetery in Mediapolis, Iowa, at a later date. Visitation will be at Lunning Chapel in Burlington, Iowa, from 3 to 5 p.m. Sunday. Memorials have been established for First United Methodist Church, Danville Fire and Rescue, and Melrose Church in Argyle, Iowa. Condolences may be offered online at www.lunningfuneralchapel.com. Mrs. Cary was born June 20, 1957, in Keokuk, Iowa, a daughter of Frances (Kurtz) Mickelson and the late Robert Mickelson. She was a graduate of Central Lee High School. She was married to James "Jim" Cary on March 7, 2009, in Burlington, Iowa. She was previously married to Lynn Nye. She worked as a bank teller for Danville State Bank for the past 12 years. Mrs. Cary was a member of First United Methodist Church. Survivors include her husband, Danville, Iowa; five sons, Joe (Joy) Nye, Iowa City, Iowa, Jacob (Melissa) Nye, New London, Iowa, Jerad Nye, Mount Pleasant, Iowa, Brad (Amy) Cary, Edwardsville, Ill., and Todd (Laura) Cary, Burlington, Iowa; one daughter, Suzanne (Tobias) Lunsford, Burlington, Iowa; her mother, Argyle, Iowa; one sister, Michele (Jay) Sandona, Stevens Point; two brothers, Kirk (Gariann) Mickelson and Mike (Chris) Mickelson, both of Argyle, Iowa; 12 grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren. |
