| Lucille Armatoski Lucille Armatoski, 86, 3876 Custer Road, Stevens Point, died Tuesday, Aug. 31, 2010, at her home while under the care of Aspirus Comfort Care & Hospice. A Funeral Mass will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday, Sept. 4, at St. Mary Immaculate Conception Catholic Church in Custer, with the Rev. Rajen Anandan officiating. Burial will follow in the parish cemetery. Visitation will be at the Pisarski/Dzikoski Funeral Home in Stevens Point Friday from 4 to 8 p.m. and at the church from 10 a.m. Saturday until the Mass. St. Mary's Altar Society will combine with the parish rosary prayed at 7 p.m. Friday at the funeral home. Condolences may be offered online at www.pisarskifuneralhome.com. Mrs. Armatoski was born Jan. 16, 1924, in Stevens Point, a daughter of the late Leo and Minnie (Landowski) Wanta. She attended Sacred Heart Catholic School in Polonia. She was married to Leo Armatoski on Sept. 4, 1943, at Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Polonia. He died on March 20, 1995. After the marriage, they settled in the Custer area where they ran a dairy farm. She was a member of the St. Mary's Altar Society. Survivors include two sons, Robert (Sandie), Stevens Point, and Thomas, Custer; three daughters, Sandra (Arthur) Lepak, Amherst, Bonnie (Tony) Werachowski, Custer, and Janice (John) Nasberg, Waupaca; two brothers, Ted (Joan) Wanta, West Bend, and Ronald Wanta, Maywood, Calif.; 17 grandchildren; 19 great-grandchildren; one great-great-grandson; and foster children. She was also preceded in death by one daughter, Rose; one son, Terry; two brothers, Leo and Donald Wanta; and one great-granddaughter, Sammy Jo Kurdydyk. |
