Cecilia M. "Ceil" (Wierzba) Garski, 81, Wittenberg, a Stevens Point native, died Wednesday, May 27, 2009, at Aspirus Wausau Hospital in Wausau.
A private memorial service will be held at a later date.
She donated her body to science at the University of Wisconsin Medical School in Madison.
Memorials may be directed to the American Heart Association in her memory.
The former Cecilia Wierzba was born in Stevens Point.
She was married to William J. "Bill" Garski on Nov. 20, 1948, at St. Joseph Catholic Church in Galloway. He died on March 12, 2004.
She worked for the former Wausau Hospitals for more than 25 years. She was also employed at the Department of Motor Vehicles in Rib Mountain for seven years where she was known as the "Picture Lady."
Survivors include one daughter, Phyllis (Wayne) Wozniak, Wausau; and two granddaughters.
