Bernice E. Boucher

Bernice Ernestine Boucher, 81, Stevens Point, died Wednesday, May 27, 2009, at the Crystal River Nursing Home in Waupaca.

Funeral services will be at 10 a.m. Saturday at the Divine Word Lutheran Church in Plover, with the Rev. Keith Free officiating. Burial will be in the Pine Grove Cemetery in Wausau.

Visitation will be at the Pisarski/Dzikoski Funeral Home in Stevens Point from 5 to 8 p.m. Friday and at the church from 9 a.m. Saturday until the services.

Mrs. Boucher was born Jan. 7, 1928, in the town of Cleveland in Marathon County, a daughter of the late Martin John and Minnie Lena (Schallock) Landwehr. She grew up and attended Westcott School in the town of Eau Pleine.

She worked in Marshfield prior to raising her family.

She was married to Edward Wilfrid Boucher on June 25, 1947, at March Rapids Church near Stratford.

The family originally settled in Colby, later moved to Kronenwetter and then Stevens Point.

Survivors include her husband, Edward; three daughters, Karen Smith, Appleton, Kay (Mark) Rossi, Yardley, Pa., and Kristy (Warren) Rheinschmidt, Stevens Point; two sons, Kenneth (Cheryl), Hortonville, and Kevin (Stephanie), Skiatok, Okla.; one sister, Shirley (Ernest) Johnson, Warrens; seven brothers, Raymond (Eleanor) Landwehr, Jarold (Marie) Landwehr, LaVern (Janet) Landwehr, Wilmer (Ione) Landwehr, and Donald (June) Landwehr, all of Stratford, Gordon (Betty) Landwehr, Edgar, and Eugene Landwehr, Unity; eight grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren.

She was also preceded in death by two brothers, Ivan and Allen Landwehr.
