Christopher Allen Young, 25, Norman, Okla., grandson of a Stevens Point woman, died Thursday, June 18, 2009.
A celebration of life will be held at 2 p.m. Tuesday at Havenbrook Funeral Home in Norman, Okla.

The family has requested that in lieu of flowers individuals marshal behind their favorite rebel cause in his honor. If a monetary contribution is preferred, the family has selected on his behalf Progressive Independence, 121 North Porter Ave., Norman OK 73071.
Mr. Young was born Jan. 27, 1984, in Norman, Okla., a son of Kathy (Gazam) Young and the late Dennis Young.
He was involved in music and drawing.
Survivors include his mother (Edgar O'Rear) Norman, Okla.; his siblings, Jonathan Young, Madison, Okla., and Jamie Young, Norman, Okla.; his maternal grandmother, Gloria Gazam, Stevens Point; and his paternal grandfather, Allen Young, Kansas City.
He was also preceded in death by his paternal grandmother, Helen Young; and his maternal grandfather, Harold Gazam.
