Alvina B. Tolsma, 77, Waupaca, mother of a Stevens Point woman, died Sunday, June 28, 2009, at Bethany Home in Waupaca.
A funeral service will be held at 10:30 a.m. Wednesday at the Holly Funeral Home in Waupaca, with the Rev. Jeffrey Holtan officiating. Burial will be in Barton Cemetery in the town of Farmington in Waupaca County.
Visitation will be at the funeral home from 9 a.m. Wednesday until the service.

Mrs. Tolsma was born Dec. 28, 1931, in the town of Wyoming in Waupaca County, a daughter of the late Clyde and Carrie (Kapen) Luker.
She was married to Clarence H. Tolsma on March 31, 1978, in Saxeville. He died on Sept. 11, 2008.
Survivors include five sons, Edwin (Debbie) Christianson, Ogdensburg, David Christianson, Arkansas, Larry (Sally) Christianson, Butte des Morts, Steven Christianson, Oshkosh, and Randal Tolsma, Weyauwega; four daughters, Sharon (Curt) Goltz, Lake Nebagamon, Denise (James) Ratajczak, Stevens Point, Charleen (Larry) Abrahamson, Waupaca, and Melanie (James) Lobner, Wisconsin Rapids; many grandchildren; and many great-grandchildren.
She was also preceded in death by numerous brothers and sisters.
