William A. "Doc" O'Connell, 58, Amherst Junction, died Monday, June 1, 2009, at St. Michael's Hospital in Stevens Point.
At his request no service will be held.

Mr. O'Connell was born Nov. 18, 1950, in Oshkosh, a son of the late Major Joseph O'Connell and Donna (Halla) Paulson.
Survivors include one daughter, Layla O'Connell, Menasha; his stepfather, Verley Paulson, Amherst Junction; one brother, Joe, Amherst Junction; and one grandson.
He was also preceded in death by his first wife and one son.
