| Darrell M. Nowak Sr. Darrell M. Nowak Sr., 67, 800 Soo Marie Ave., Stevens Point, died Wednesday, June 3, 2009 at St. Joseph's Hospital in Marshfield. A private family Celebration of Life will be held at Boston Funeral Home. Condolences may be offered online at bostonfuneralhome.net. Mr. Nowak was born Aug. 28, 1941, in Green Bay, a son of the late Mitchell and Jeanette (Brice) Nowak. He spent his early childhood in the area. Due to the transient nature of his father's career, his family move several times before settling in Bancroft. He graduated from Tri-County High School in Plainfield. After high school he followed in his father's footsteps by becoming an ironworker. He worked for several companies and in various locations as an independent contractor. He later settled in the Stevens Point area and worked in the potato industry driving truck. He then became employed with Stuczynski Trucking & Excavating, driving a dump truck. He was married to Mary Suchon. They later divorced. He was married to Betty (Schofield) Bach on Dec. 30, 1983. Survivors include his wife, Betty, Stevens Point; three sons, Michael (Kimberly), Darrel Jr. (Vicki) and Raymond, all of Stevens Point; two daughters, Katherine (Kelvin) Amundson and Barbara (Tom) Sadogierski, both of Stevens Point; four stepchildren, Denise (Larry) Zimmerman, Owen, Timothy Bach and Terry (Kimberly) Bach, both of Stevens Point, and Todd Bach, Junction City; one brother, David (Diane), Sheboygan; three sisters, Judy (John) Beggs, Plainfield, Becky (Richard) Penick, Oklahoma, and Debbie ( Randy) Kolata, Wautoma; 16 grandchildren; and seven great-grandchildren. |
