Adeline H. Maslowski

Adeline H. Maslowski, 92, formerly of the town of New Hope and a resident of the Stevens Point Care Center in Whiting, died Friday, June 19, 2009, at St. Michael's Hospital.

A Funeral Mass will be held at 11 a.m. Tuesday at Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Polonia, with the Rev. Marcin Mankowski officiating. Burial will be in the parish cemetery.

Visitation will be at the church from 9:30a.m. Tuesday until the Mass.

Mrs. Maslowski was born June 12, 1917, in Chicago, Ill., a daughter of the late Walter and Sophie (Gliwa) Lebryk. She attended schools in Chicago and St. Mary's of Mount Carmel School in Fancher.

She was married to Norbert Maslowski on June 29, 1946, at Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Polonia. He died on June 13, 1975.

After the marriage the couple moved to the Ellis area before finally settling in the town of New Hope.

She was a homemaker most of her life, but also worked for a short time for Wysocki Farms.

She was a member of the Sacred Heart Rosary Society Rose 17.

Survivors include two daughters, Kathleen Eiden, Plover, and Cindy (LaVerne) Lepak, Custer; one son, Jerome "Moose," Amherst Junction; six grandchildren, Paul Eiden, Carol (Joe) Maes, Ryan (Katherine) Eiden, Lyle (Heather) Eiden, Crystal (Bryan) Kunst and Tracy (Joseph) Lepak; and eight great-grandchildren.

She was also preceded in death by one infant son; one sister, Cecilia Omernik; three brothers, Frank, Matthew and John Lebryk; one grandson; and one great-grandson.
