Ronald Lassa, 68, 421 S. Highway X, Mosinee, brother of a Stevens Point woman, died Monday, June 8, 2009, at his home.
A funeral service will be held at 10 a.m. Friday at Our Savior National Catholic Church in Mosinee, with the Rev. Marion Talaga officiating.
Visitation will be at Beste Funeral Home in Mosinee from 4 to 8 p.m. Thursday and again from 8:30 to 9:30 a.m. Friday.
Mr. Lassa was born Dec. 9, 1940, in Stevens Point, a son of the late Theodore and Anna (Papa) Lassa.
He served in the U.S. Army from 1961 to 1963.
He was married to Coreen Grezenski on Sept. 19, 1964, at St. Casmir Catholic Church in the town of Hull.
He was employed at Mosinee Paper Corp. for 48 years, retiring in 2008.
Survivors include his wife, Mosinee; one daughter, Lori (Mike) Newton, Mosinee; four sons, Brian (Missy), Duane (Brenda Guillaume), Daniel and Brad (Brooke) Lassa, all of Mosinee; one sister, Pat (Jim) Gliniecki, Stevens Point; and seven grandchildren.
