Jerome A. Glodowski

Jerome A. Glodowski, 40, Wisconsin Rapids, a Stevens Point native and son of a Stevens Point woman, died unexpectedly Friday, June 5, 2009.

Funeral services will be at 11 a.m. Thursday at Taylor, Vollert and Jennings Funeral Home in Wisconsin Rapids, with the Rev. Frank "Frog" Seebantz officiating. Military rites will be provided by American Legion Post 9.

Visitation will be at the funeral home from 4 to 8 p.m. Wednesday and again from 10 a.m. Thursday until the services.

Mr. Glodowski was born May 6, 1969, in Stevens Point, a son of Fred and Eileen (Moxon) Glodowski. He graduated from Lincoln High School in Wisconsin Rapids in 1987.

Following high school, he served in the U.S. Army and was awarded an Army Achievement Medal in 1989.

He graduated from Mid-State Technical College with a degree in instrumentation.

He worked as an instrumentation technician for New Page in the Whiting Division.

He was married to Tina Mullen on Aug. 6, 2008, in Sturgis, S.D.

Survivors include his wife, Tina, Wisconsin Rapids; two daughters, Amanda and Angela, both of Sparta; his mother, Eileen (Jerry Chojnacki) Glodowski, Stevens Point; his father, Fred (Kathy) Glodowski, Park Falls; one brother, Steve (Melinda) Glodowski, Oklahoma City, Okla.; and two grandsons.

He was preceded in death by his grandparents.
