Edward M. 'Fast Eddie' Flisakowski Edward M. "Fast Eddie" Flisakowski, 53, Junction City, died Saturday, June 6, 2009, at the Portage County Health Care Center in Stevens Point. A funeral service will be held at 11 a.m. Thursday at Pisarski/Dzikoski Funeral Home in Stevens Point, with the Rev. Dennis Stanchik officiating. Burial will be in Guardian Angel Cemetery. Visitation will be at the funeral home from 9:30 a.m. Thursday until the service. Condolences may be offered online at www.pisarskifuneralhome.com. Mr. Flisakowski was born Sept. 11, 1955, in Stevens Point, a son of Dorothy (Wanta) Flisakowski and the late Emil Flisakowski. He had worked as a bartender in local establishments and also worked for the carnival and construction in Arizona. Survivors include his mother, Dorothy Flisakowski, Stevens Point; two sisters, Cyndi (Mike) Kosobucki and Valerie (Jerry) Yach, both of Stevens Point; one brother, Randy (Joyce), Amherst Junction; three nephews; two nieces; and one grandnephew. He was also preceded in death by his paternal grandparents, Michael and Anna Flisakowski; and his maternal grandparents, Edward and Verona Wanta.
