Lorraine M. Erickson, 78, Iola, died Sunday, June 14, 2009, at the Iola Living Assistance in Iola.
A memorial service will be held at 11 a.m. Friday at Our Savior's Lutheran Church in Iola, with the Rev. Dennis Olson officiating. Burial will be in the Hitterdahl Lutheran Cemetery in Iola.
Visitation will be at the Voie Funeral Home in Iola from 4 to 7 p.m. Thursday. A Barbara Rebekah Lodge 9 service will be held at 7 p.m. Thursday at the funeral home.
Memorials may be given to the American Cancer Society in lieu of flowers.

Mrs. Erickson was born May 27, 1931, near Clintonville, a daughter of the late Rinard and Cora (Austreng) Krause.
She was married to Harold Nellis. He died in 1958.
She was married to Leo Erickson on Dec. 2, 1961, at the Hitterdahl Lutheran Church in Iola.
After settling in Iola with her husband Leo, she stayed at home and raised their two sons.
She was active in her church and the community. In 2007 she was named the Iola-Scandinavia Outstanding Citizen.
She was a member of the Barbara Rebekah Lodge 9 in Stevens Point.
Survivors include her husband, Leo, Iola; two sons, Lonny, Sarona, and Larry, Iola; four grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren.
