| David R. Dombrowski David R. Dombrowski, 59, Amherst Junction, died Tuesday, June 9, 2009, at his home. A Funeral Mass will be held at 11 a.m. Friday at St. James Catholic Church in Amherst, with the Rev. Robert Pedretti officiating. Interment will be in St. James Catholic Cemetery in Amherst. Visitation will be at the Jungers-Holly Funeral Home in Amherst from 4 to 7 p.m. Thursday and at the church from 10 a.m. Friday until the Mass. A rosary service will be held at 6:30 p.m. Thursday at the funeral home. Condolences may be offered online at www.hollyfuneralhome.com. Mr. Dombrowski was born Oct. 29, 1949, in Stevens Point, a son of the late Nickolas and Romona (Firkus) Dombrowski. He was married to Karen Bicknase on July 19, 1969, in Amherst. He was a member of St. James Catholic Church in Amherst. He retired last year from Stuczynski Trucking. Prior to that, he had worked for Tomorrow Valley Co-op for 33 years. Survivors include his wife; one daughter, Julie (Kevin) Armatoski, Amherst; two sons, Joel (Lisa), Stevens Point, and Josh (good friend Danielle Woyach), Amherst Junction; three brothers, William (Diane), Darol (Joyce) and Duane (Ann Marie), all of Amherst Junction; six sisters, Diane (John) Pacocha, Mount Calvary, Darlene (Jim) Jakusz, Donna Dombrowski and Dottie O'Neill, all of Amherst Junction, Doris Fisher, Green Bay, and Debra Janz, Appleton; and two grandchildren. He was also preceded in death by one sister, Angeline Dombrowski. |
