Mark P. Chapley, 49, Wisconsin Rapids, a Stevens Point native and son of a Stevens Point couple, died Tuesday, June 30, 2009, at St. Joseph's Hospital in Marshfield due to a long illness.
A funeral service will be held at 11 a.m. Monday at the Pisarski Community Funeral Home and Cremation Center in Plover, with Pastor Michael Wrzinski officiating.
Visitation will be at the funeral home from 10 a.m. Monday until the service.

Mr. Chapley was born Sept. 30, 1959, in Stevens Point, a son of Jerry (Janet) Chapley and Connie Knutson. He attended schools in Wisconsin Rapids and graduated from Lincoln High School in Wisconsin Rapids.
He enjoyed repairing guns and fishing.
Survivors include his parents, Jerry (Janet) Chapley, Stevens Point, and Connie Knutson, Stevens Point; two daughters, Jamie L. Chapley and Nicole M. Chapley; one brother, Brody (Debra) Knutson, Wisconsin Rapids; three sisters, Carlin Rasmussen and Brenda (Steve) Schmidt, both of Wisconsin Rapids, and Brook Knutson, Stevens Point.
He was preceded in death by his stepfather, Bill Knutson.
