Eileen K. Adamski

Eileen K. Adamski, 66, Germantown, a Portage County native and sister of two Portage County residents, died Thursday, June 25, 2009, after battling a longtime illness.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 11 a.m. Wednesday at St. Boniface Catholic Church in Germantown.

Visitation will be at Schmidt & Bartelt Funeral and Cremation Services in Menomonee Falls from 4 to 7:30 p.m. Tuesday.

Memorials to the American Cancer Society or the American Heart Association are appreciated in lieu of flowers.

Mrs. Adamski was born May 8, 1943, in the town of Stockton, a daughter of the late Peter and Selma (Eckendorf) Adamczak. She graduated from Amherst High School in 1960.

She was married to Lloyd Adamski 46 years ago.

Survivors include her husband; one daughter, Lisa (Joel) Herriges; one son, Mike; four brothers, Edmund (Bernadine) Adamczak, Green Bay, Alois (Eleanore) Adamczak, Milwaukee, Donald Adamczak, Stevens Point, and Michael (Arlene) Adamczak, Rome, Ga.; two sisters, Janet Woyak, Plainfield, and Carol (Michael) Hinrichs, Amherst; and three grandchildren.

She was also preceded by one brother, Earl C. "Jake" Adamczak.
