Robert J. Krieski
Robert J. Krieski, 88, 566 Moon Road, Mosinee, father of a Stevens Point man, died Friday, May 2, 2008, at Kennedy
Park Medical and Rehabilitation Center in Weston.
Services will be at 11 a.m. Tuesday at Beste Funeral Home in Mosinee, with the Rev. Michael McKissick officiating.
Burial will be in Mosinee Cemetery.
Visitation will be at the funeral home from 4 to 8 p.m. Monday and again from 10 a.m. Tuesday until the services.
Mr. Krieski was born Aug. 19, 1919, in Knowlton, a son of the late John Krieski and Helen (Lashau) Gordon.
He was married to Lorraine Dean on Nov. 22, 1941, in Junction City. She died Oct. 29, 2003.
He was a U.S. Army veteran serving during World War II. He received a Bronze Star.
He was employed at Biron Division of Consolidated Papers Inc. in Wisconsin Rapids for 34 years, retiring in 1981.
Survivors include one son, Howard (Germaine), Stevens Point; two daughters, Jane (Bob) Halder, Boulder Junction,
and Nancy (Joe) Friday, Mosinee; one brother, Harold, Sheboygan; one sister, Nora Pendowski, Milwaukee; five half-brothers;
four half-sisters; 11 grandchildren; and 22 great-grandchildren.
He was also preceded in death by three half-sisters and three half-brothers. |
