| Alice L. Attoe Alice L. Attoe, 88, Wautoma, mother of a Stevens Point woman, died Monday, May 5, 2008, at the Wild Rose Manor in Wild Rose. Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday at Crossroads Family Church in Wautoma, with Pastor Phil Engel officiating. Burial will be in Oak Hill Cemetery in Wild Rose. Visitation will be at the church from 9:30 a.m. Saturday until the services. Leikness Funeral Home in Wautoma is assisting the family with arrangements. Mrs. Attoe was born Aug. 16, 1919, in the town of Deerfield in Waushara County, a daughter of the late Fred and Alvina (Miller) Krueger. She was married to Norman C. Attoe on Jan. 24, 1942, in Milwaukee. She and her husband resided in Milwaukee and Brookfield before returning to the Wautoma area in 1971. She attended the former Assembly of God in Wautoma. Survivors include her husband, Norman, a resident of Silver Lake Manor, Wautoma; one son, Gary (Dorie) Attoe, Hortonville; one daughter, Betty (Irv) Wachowiak, Stevens Point; and four grandchildren. |
