Helen A. Suski, 89, Phoenix, Ariz., a former Bevent area resident and mother of a former sports reporter at the Stevens Point Journal, died Monday, March 24, 2008.
A memorial service will be held July 12 at Maryhill Cemetery in Niles, Ill.
Mrs. Suski was born Jan. 14, 1919, in Calumet City, Ill., a daughter of the late Vincent and Frances Kotulski.
She was married to Casimir Suski on Oct. 10, 1941, in Chicago. He preceded her in death.
Survivors include one daughter, Gerri (Howard) Farkash, Phoenix, Ariz.; one son, James (Amy), La Verne, Calif.; two sisters, Rose Blackburn and Alice Ryan, both of Chicago, Ill.; three grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren.
