Karl M. Schenk, 86, Wichita, Kan., a former Stevens Point resident, died Monday, April 21, 2008.
A funeral service will be held at 11 a.m. Thursday at Resthaven Gardens of Memory in Wichita, Kan.
Memorials in lieu of flowers may be directed to Faith Hospice and Calvary Bible Church.
Mr. Schenk served in the U.S. Air Force, holding the rank of first lieutenant, and was a navigator in World War II flying B-17s.
He retired as an aeronautical engineer from Boeing and Learjet/Bombardier.
Survivors include his wife of 64 years, H. Pauline; three daughters, Kathryn Peters, Mary L. Hallowell and Laura A. Sanderson; two sons, Karl A. and Harry N.; two brothers, Jack and David; 10 grandchildren; and seven great-grandchildren.
