| Richard A. Krutza Richard A. Krutza, 80, 2425 Center St., Stevens Point, died at Wausau Hospital on Thursday, April 10, 2008. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10:30 a.m. Monday at St. Stanislaus Catholic Church, with the Rev. Dennis Stanchik officiating. Interment will follow at Guardian Angel Cemetery. Visitation will be at Boston Funeral Home from 4 to 8 p.m. Sunday and at the church from 9:30 a.m. Monday until the Mass. A memorial will be established in his name later. Condolences may be offered online at bostonfuneralhome.net. Mr. Krutza was born Aug. 21, 1927, in Fancher in the town of Stockton, a son of the late Stanley and Regina (Groshek) Krutza. He attended P.J. Jacobs High School. He joined the U.S. Navy on Nov. 16, 1945, and received an honorable discharge on April 18, 1946. He was married to Virginia Liebe on Aug. 7, 1948. They were later divorced. He worked at Lullaby Furniture (Evenflo) for 32 years, retiring in 1982. He worked for 18 years as custodian at Frame Memorial Presbyterian Church and was a crossing guard for the Stevens Point School System for a couple of years. He was married to Sandra Wachowiak Oct. 9, 1979. He was a life member of Disabled American Veterans Chapter 30 and a past member of American Legion Post 6. Survivors include his wife, Sandra; his children, Marge (Barry) Fecteau and Tim (Leanne) Krutza, both of Plover, Ruth (Lyndon) Foote, Neenah, Ken Krutza, Randy (Linda) Krutza and Jeffrey Krutza, all of Belvedere, Ill., Bonnie (Gilbert Trevino) Janowski, Rockford, Ill., Rusty (Cassie) Krutza and Jackie Krutza, both of Stevens Point, and Jodi Krutza, Wisconsin Rapids; one sister, Marie McGown, Green Bay; a special niece, Carol Walker; a special nephew, Stanley (Sandy) Krutza; 21 grandchildren; and 11 great-grandchildren. He was also preceded in death by two brothers and one granddaughter. |
