Evelyn M. Kramer, 78, Bancroft, died Sunday, April 13, 2008, at St. Michael's Hospital in Stevens Point.
Memorial services will be held at 11 a.m. Wednesday at Leikness & Stahl Funeral Home in Plainfield, with the Rev. Jeffrey D. Silha officiating. Inurnment will be in the Pine Grove Cemetery in the town of Pine Grove.
Visitation will be at the funeral home from 9 a.m. Wednesday until the services.
A memorial has been established in lieu of flowers for the Bancroft Baptist Church, the American Cancer Society and the American Diabetes Association.

Mrs. Kramer was born Sept. 6, 1929, in Loyal, a daughter of the late Richard and Mabel (Norton) Metcalf.
She was married to Gordon W. Kramer on Jan. 31, 1945, in Plainfield.
She was an active member of the Bancroft Baptist Church for more than 50 years and served in the Ladies Glad Tidings Circle. She was also a member of the Bancroft Homemakers Club.
Survivors include her husband; four sons, Richard (Jackie), Almond, Carl (Liz), Kingsland, Texas, Ken (Cyndi), Burlington, and George (Jackie), Johnsburg; five daughters, Donna (Wally) Richardson, Illinois, Pat (Bobby) Morrison and Sue Kozak, both of Carpentersville, Ill., Jane (Gary) Young, Mendota, Ill., and Mary (Mike) Page, Bancroft; one sister, Mary Meddaugh, Plover; 23 grandchildren; 44 great-grandchildren; and five great-great-grandchildren.
She was also preceded in death by one brother and one sister.
