Robert N. Klish
Robert N. Klish, 74, Wisconsin Rapids, a town of Carson native and brother of three Stevens Point residents, died
Sunday, April 20, 2008, at St. Joseph's Hospital in Marshfield.
Funeral services will be at 11:30 a.m. Thursday at St. Vincent de Paul Catholic Church in Wisconsin Rapids, with
the Revs. William Menzel and James Esser officiating. Burial will be in Calvary Cemetery in Wisconsin Rapids.
Visitation will be at Ritchay Funeral Home in Wisconsin Rapids, from 4 to 7 p.m. Wednesday and at the church from
10:30 a.m. Thursday until the services. There will be a parish prayer service at the funeral home at 6:30 p.m.
Wednesday.
Mr. Klish was born Aug. 2, 1933, in Mill Creek, a son of the late Casmer and Agnes (Klesmith) Klish.
He was married to Marcella Hilgers on June 30, 1956, in Wisconsin Rapids.
He was employed at Consolidated Papers Inc. in the coating department for 38 years, retiring in 1995. He also was
a part-time employee at Wisconsin Van Lines and worked the family farm with his parents.
After retiring he was a school bus driver for Safeway for children with special needs.
He collected trains.
Survivors include his wife; three sons, Lawrence (Veronica), Leon (Cheri) and Lyle (Tammi), all of Wisconsin Rapids;
three daughters, Linda (John) Kingery, Lynette (Jay) Kingery and Lori (Scott) Goodwin, all of Wisconsin Rapids;
two brothers, Melvin (Mary) and Frank, both of Stevens Point; one sister, Louise (special friend Norm) Sobczak,
Stevens Point; 14 grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.
He was also preceded in death by one brother and one granddaughter. |
