Bette A. Kitzerow

Bette A. Kitzerow, 75, 6808 Sixth St., Stevens Point, died Sunday, April 27, 2008, as a result of a motor vehicle accident in the town of Amherst.

A Celebration of Life will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday at Good Shepherd Lutheran Church in Plover, with the Rev. Al Moen officiating.

Visitation will be at the church from 10 a.m. Saturday until the service.

A memorial will be established in her name.

Boston Funeral Home assisted the family with arrangements. Condolences may be offered online at

Mrs. Kitzerow was born Dec. 7, 1932, in Kronenwetter, a daughter of the late Paul and Clara (Steg) Huber. She grew up in Mosinee and graduated from Mosinee High School in 1949.

She was married to Jack D. Kitzerow on Oct. 21, 1950.

She and her husband owned and operated Chicken Deluxe Catering Service in Wausau until selling it in 1965. After moving to Wisconsin Rapids in 1965, she began working for Copps Co., retiring in 1996. She and her family moved to Stevens Point in 1973.

She was a member of Good Shepherd Lutheran Church.

Survivors include her husband; three sons, Jeff (Betty), Stevens Point, Kim (Joy Ann), Wauwatosa, and Patrick, Kaukauna; one daughter, Tari (Bill) Wallner, Stevens Point; one brother, Rodney (Katie) Huber, Hazelhurst; 10 grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.

She was also preceded in death by two sisters and one brother.
