| Brian G. Jablonski Brian Gerard Jablonski, 50, Pewaukee, a Stevens Point native and son of a Stevens Point man, died Wednesday, April 16, 2008, after a three-year battle with multiple myeloma. A memorial service will be held at 3 p.m. Saturday at the Harder Funeral Home in Brookfield. There will be a private inurnment at Southern Wisconsin Veterans Memorial Cemetery in Union Grove. Visitation will be at the funeral home from 1 p.m. Saturday until the service. A donation to the Multiple Myeloma Research Foundation or the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society would be appreciated in lieu of flowers. Condolences may be offered online at www.harderfuneralhome.com. Mr. Jablonski was born Sept. 9, 1957, in Stevens Point, a son of Victor Jablonski and the late Marion (Spraitz) Jablonski. He attended St. Stephen Elementary School and Pacelli High School. Upon high school graduation, he entered the U.S. Air Force, where he served as a security policeman at Minot Air Force Base, N.D. Upon completing his military service, he returned to Stevens Point and attended the University of Wisconsin-Stevens Point, receiving a bachelor of science degree. After college he spent his entire professional sales career in the insurance, consumer credit and credit card processing industries. During this time he resided in Denver, Colo. and Akron, Ohio. Survivors include two children, Scott and Kristen; his father, Victor, Stevens Point; one brother, Tom (Annette), Oconomowoc; one sister, Susan (Rick) Hackbarth, Stevens Point; best friend, Gary Munz; lifelong friend, Mark Thompson; and nieces and nephews. He was also preceded in death by one brother, Mark. |
