| Donald R. Harry Donald R. Harry, 73, Plover, died Saturday, April 19, 2008, at his home. Services will be held at 11 a.m. Thursday at Woodlands Church in Plover, with the Rev. Brian Berg officiating. Burial will be in Barneveld. Visitation will be at the church from 9 a.m. Thursday until the services. The Shuda-Plover Family Funeral Home has been entrusted to assist the family. Condolences may be offered online at www.ploverfuneralhome.com. Mr. Harry was born Jan. 27, 1935, in Milwaukee, a son of the late George Moyer and Lucille Harry. He attended schools in Milwaukee. He began working as a roofer in Illinois after finishing school. He was married to Patricia Ann Secor on Nov. 9, 1968, in Illinois. The couple moved to the Plover area in 1991 and were married in a Christian service on May 8, 1996. He retired from the building trades in 1998, but continued to work part-time at Service Master until May 2007. He was a member of the senior fellowship at Woodlands Church and he cooked for the senior fellowship. Survivors include his wife; one brother, Doyle (Lorraine) Rolo; one sister, Margaret (John) Julson; one sister-in-law, Kathy Secor; one brother-in-law, Michael Secor; and two special people who helped raise him as a child, Dorothy Crook and Velma Parsons. He was also preceded in death by two brothers. |
