Earl E. Ehrhardt

Earl E. Ehrhardt, 83, Coloma, formerly of Milwaukee, died Thursday, April 17, 2008.

Funeral services will be held at 3 p.m. Saturday, April 26, at the Shuda-Plover Family Funeral Home, with the Rev. Jonathan Wessel officiating. Burial will be in the Wisconsin Memorial Park Cemetery in Milwaukee.

Visitation will be at the funeral home from 1 p.m. Saturday, April 26, until the services.

Mr. Ehrhardt was born Aug. 14, 1924, in Milwaukee, a son of the late Herman and Eleanor (Altenbach) Ehrhardt. He graduated from Lincoln High School in Milwaukee.

He entered the United States Army in October 1943. He earned the Bronze Star and the Victory Medal and was honorably discharged in March 1946.

He worked as an insulator as part of the Carpenters Local and retired in 1988.

He was married to Bernice Hafeman on April 17, 1948, in Milwaukee. She died in 2002.

The couple lived in Milwaukee their entire married life. He moved to Coloma to be with his sister.

Survivors include three sisters, June Shafer, Coloma, Dorothy Wescott, Schofield, and Ruth Troy, Milwaukee; and one brother, Herman (Dolores), Sussex.
