Alan W. Cunningham

Alan W. Cunningham, 52, owner of a Longmont, Colo., computer company and husband of a former Rosholt woman, died unexpectedly Sunday, April 20, 2008.

A private service has been held.

Mr. Cunningham was born May 8, 1955, on the Otis Air Force Base on Cape Cod, Mass., a son of Donald and Mary (Hall) Cunningham.

He was married to Janice M. Zblewski on Aug. 3, 1991, in Longmont, Colo.

He graduated from Regis University with a degree in business administration and from Denver University with a masters of science degree in computer systems management.

He owned and operated a scuba diving shop for several years in Aurora, Colo. He was a security administrator at IBM from 1983 to 1994. He and his wife then partnered and created their computer company.

He was a member of the American Society of Industrial Security and was a certified fraud examiner along with his father. Alan was also a Certified Protection Professional (CPP).

He was a lifetime member of the All Ears Disney World Club.

Survivors include his wife; his parents, Donald and Mary Cunningham; one sister, Debra (Tom), Parker, Colo.; one brother, David, Aurora, Ill.; his mother-in-law, Irene Zblewski, Rosholt; and brothers- and sisters-in-law, including Barb (Gary) Perron, Jeffrey Zblewski and Tony (Janet) Zblewski, all of Plover, Donald (Barb) Zblewski, Linda (Carl) Garski and Jerry (Judy) Zblewski, all of Rosholt, and Betsy Zblewski and Martin (Ann) Zblewski, both of Stevens Point.

He was preceded in death by his grandparents and his father-in-law, Stanley Zblewski.
