Alice Simpson Chaney, 89, Plover, formerly of Amherst, who died Friday, April 25, 2008, was survived by one son, Morris M. III, Ravenna, Ohio; two daughters, Merlyn P. Chaney, Amherst, and Alice L. Chaney, Madison; one sister, Mary Ruth Ferguson; and two grandchildren, Orion C. Giering and Rosemary Alice Tschantz.
The survivors were incorrectly identified in the May 2 Gazette.
