Dirk Alan Wolf
Dirk Alan Wolf, 23, 334 Frontenac Ave., Stevens Point, died Wednesday, Nov. 2, 2005, at St. Michael's Hospital
following a shooting incident.
A Service of Memories will be held at 11 a.m. Tuesday at Boston Funeral Home.
Visitation will be at the funeral home from 5 to 9 p.m. Monday and from 10 a.m. Tuesday until the service.
A memorial is established in his name for a trust fund for his daughter, Megan.
Mr. Wolf was born Dec. 12, 1981, in Stevens Point, a son of Rodney and Mary (Zietlow) Wolf of Amherst Junction.
He grew up in Amherst and graduated from Amherst High School in 2000. While in high school, he was active in choir,
drama and band. He was selected several years to participate in gifted education programs while in junior high
and high school.
He attended the University of Wisconsin-Stevens Point for a couple of years.
He was a graphic artist and writer for Hard Shell Word Factory, a family business. While working, he won national
and international awards with his cover art. He recently was expanding his graphic arts business to other publishers.
He provided respite care for his brother, who has autism, and most recently was involved in nonprofit relief for
a human rights organization.
Survivors include his parents, Amherst Junction; one daughter, Megan Svetlana Wolf, Stevens Point; one brother,
Wayne, Amherst Junction; his fiancé, Michelle Evelyn Kondrot, Stevens Point; and his grandmothers. |
