Mary Kay 'Kate' Lobeck
Mary Kay "Kate" Lobeck, 57, Viroqua, mother of a Stevens Point woman, died Tuesday, Aug. 3, 2004, at
Encore Senior Village in Stevens Point.
A memorial service will be held at 1 p.m. Friday at Pisarski/Dzikoski Funeral Home in Stevens Point, with Chaplain
Bill Christiansen officiating.
Visitation will be from noon Friday at the funeral home until the services.
Mrs. Lobeck was born Dec. 24, 1946, in Madison, a daughter of Elizabeth (Kern) Manion and the late Robert Manion.
She graduated from Edgewood High School in Madison in 1964 and attended the University of Wisconsin-Madison for
two years.
She was married to Richard Lobeck on June 29, 1968, in Madison.
She worked for Warf Institute in Madison as a lab technician studying cancer chemotherapy for a number of years
and later became a homemaker, caring for beef cattle on the family farm.
Survivors include her husband, Viroqua; two daughters, Erin (Rob) Clint, Stevens Point, and Amanda Lobeck, La Crosse;
her mother, Elizabeth Manion, Madison; three sisters, Lyn Manion, San Francisco, Calif., Joan (Bob) Washtock, Perrysburg,
Ohio, and Sara (John) Huston, Bonita Springs, Fla.; two brothers, Mark (Rita) Manion, Leesburg, Va., and Steve
Manion, Madison. |
