Helen T. Jurgella, 86, 5339 Old Highway 18, Stevens Point, died Thursday, April 8, 2004, at Our House Assisted
Living in Plover. She was under the care of Ministry Home Care - Hospice Services.
A Funeral Mass will be held at 10 a.m. Wednesday at St. Stanislaus Catholic Church. Burial will be in Guardian
Angel Cemetery.
Visitation will be at the Pisarski/Dzikoski Funeral Home from 4 to 8 p.m. Tuesday and from 8:30 a.m. Wednesday
until the services. The St. Stanislaus Rosary Society will combine with the general rosary at 7 p.m. Tuesday at
the funeral home.
A memorial in her name will be established at a later date in lieu of flowers.
Mrs. Jurgella was born Nov. 24, 1917, in Portage County, a daughter of the late Frank and Helen (Worzalla) Lewandowski.
She was married to Florian Jurgella on May 3, 1937, at St. Peter Catholic Church in Stevens Point. He died July
10, 1999.
She was a member of the St. Stanislaus Rosary Society.
Survivors include five sons, James (Theresa), Dousman, Peter (Carmen), Mosinee, and Florian (Barbara), Edward (Kelly)
and Frank (Monica), all of Stevens Point; four daughters, Frances (Ernest) Betro, Plover, Shirley (Florian) Chojnacki,
Custer, Helen (Dave) Novack, Wisconsin Rapids, and Patricia (Dave) Kitowski Jr., Stevens Point; one brother, Edward
(Marilyn) Lewandowski, Stevens Point; 34 grandchildren; 43 great-grandchildren; and 11 great-great-grandchildren.
She was also preceded in death by two sisters and one brother. |
