The American Red Cross has scheduled a blood drive on Wednesday, Sept. 22, from 11 a.m. to 6 p.m. and Thursday, Sept. 23, from 7:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. at the Elks Lodge, 1132 Clark St.
Appointments may be made by calling 344-4052. Walk-ins are also welcome.
Donors must be at least 17 years old, weigh 110 pounds and be in good health. Blood may be donated every 56 days.
The Red Cross reports a shortage of blood and urges all who can donate to do so.
