The Stevens Point Area Public School District will hold three public information meetings to discuss the story behind the referendum, what it includes, why it is necessary and what it will cost.
The first meeting was scheduled for 7 p.m. Thursday, Oct. 21, at Kennedy Elementary School, the second at 7 p.m. Tuesday, Oct. 26, at the Stevens Point Area Senior Hih School auditorium and the third at 7 p.m. Thursday, Oct. 28, at the Ben Franklin Junior High School auditorium.
The meetings are sponsored by the school district's Finance/Buildings & Grounds Committee.
