School kids only have a few days left to finish taking notes for their upcoming "What I did for summer vacation essays" they might have to write.
The Stevens Point Area Public School District begins classes on Wednesday, Aug. 25, along with the Stevens Point Area Catholic Schools.
Outlying school districts are also set to open. Students return on Wednesday to schools in the Tomorrow River and Rosholt school districts.
Students in Almond and Bancroft will have a few days to themselves on playgrounds and beaches. The Almond-Bancroft School District starts classes on Monday, Aug. 30.
