Crazy Days full of bargains, food and fun

Downtown Stevens Point and Main Street merchants and the CenterPoint Marketplace will be observing Crazy Days, beginning Tuesday, July 10. The event is the biggest sidewalk sale of the year.

In downtown Stevens Point the event is from 8 a.m. to 6 p.m. on Tuesday, July 10, and 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. on Wednesday, July 11.

In CenterPoint Marketplace the event runs from 8 a.m. to 9 p.m. Tuesday, July 10; 9 a.m. to 9 p.m. Wednesday, July 11; 10 a.m. to 9 p.m. on both Thursday, July 12, and Friday, July 13; 9:30 a.m. to 6 p.m. Saturday, July 14; and 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. Sunday, July 15.

There will be a number of activities on the Public Square and Main Street on Tuesday and Wednesday, including musical performances and food stands.

Lending to the family atmosphere in the Marketplace, additional events have been scheduled during Crazy Days including demonstrations and entertainment from the Stevens Taekwondo Academy (Wednesday at noon) and The Conservatory for Creative Expression (Thursday at 1 and 3 p.m.). Spinnin' Wheels Micro Reality Car Racing will be on Tuesday and Wednesday for racing enthusiasts to test their skills.

A Farmers' Market, featuring S&D Farms Piedmontese Beef, Lowland Ranch Bison, Emu Products and Tiffany's Gardens plants will be open on Tuesday and Wednesday, as well as St. Vincent de Paul's Collectibles.

Other vendors will include: Ben Franklin Orchestra Entertainment and Candy Sales (Tuesday-Sunday), Heaven in a Handbasket sales (Tuesday-Sunday) and Creative Memories Scrapbooking (Tuesday-Thursday).

Hours for Rocky Rococo pizza sales will be Monday-Friday, 10 a.m.-6 p.m. and Saturday, 10 a.m-5 p.m.
