Motorists have more of a challenge in negotiating around downtown Stevens Point as work on Clark Street progresses west, closing more cross streets.
Crews paved Clark Street from Division to Church streets on Monday, June 19. Water mains are being installed between Church and Strongs Avenue, and a sanitary main is being installed on Clark west of the bridge.
Form work on the west side of the bridge deck began Monday, and the remaining concrete beams for the east end of the bridge are scheduled to be delivered next week.
On Wednesday, June 28, the state Department of Transportation will hold an informational meeting at 6 p.m. at P.J. Jacobs Junior High School for business owners and residents along the Clark Street project.
