The Winchester Academy program on Nov. 1 featuring retired Lawrence University professor Bill Chaney has been postponed.
Chaney will be rescheduled after the start of the new year.
On Nov. 8, the speaker will be Charlie Luthin, executive director of Wisconsin Wetlands Association. His slide presentation will illustrate both the beauty and the many essential functions of bogs and marshes, swamps and floodplains, over half of which are now permanently lost.
