VFW hears report on Buddy Poppy Drive
General McGlachlin Post 568, Veterans of Foreign Wars, held its regular monthly meeting recently at the Eagles
Club, hearing a report on the recent Buddy Poppy Drive from the Post Chairman, William Waldherr.
There also was a report on the cookout held at the County Market on Aug. 21.
Both the Post and Auxiliary sent delegates to the Fall Conference at the VFW Club in Adams-Friendship on Sept.
19.
The Post agreed to work with the Plover VFW Post on the Voice of Democracy Contest at Stevens Point Area Senior
High School and Pacelli.
Ralph Meshak, Post quartermaster, is still collecting dues for the 1999-2000 year. |
