A 33-1/4 inch northern pike took top honors Jan. 31 at the Izaak Walton League ice fisheree . It was caught by Knut Wiza, 3601 Dave's Drive.
The weather was chilly but endurable for the fisheree, held on McDill Pond. The event is an annual fundraiser for the conservation organization.
Other winners in the adult division were Kevin Drewa, 341 Bukolt Ave., a 14-3/4 inch bass; Blake Porter, 1211 Sherman Ave., a 10-1/2 inch perch; Jason Lee, 2616 Ellis St., a 9-1/2 inch crappie; and Todd Higgins, 2032 Texas Ave., an 8-1/2 inch bluegill.
Winners in the age 16 and under class were Michael Johnson, Almond, a 28-1/2 inch northern pike; Clayton Zalewski, 425 6th Ave., a 9-5/8 inch perch; Dustin Plaski, 2797 Little Chicago, a 9-1/2 inch crappie; and Matt Rucinski, 316 Birch Drive, Mosinee, a 7-1/4 inch bluegill.
